NF ZM2371 LCR Meter

A LCR meter measures impedance (inductance, capacitance and resistance) at spot frequencies. It is used for testing components and materials in R&D applications and in component manufacturing.

Primary parameters 
Displays measured values for Lp, Ls, Cp, Cs, Rp, Rs, |Z|, |Y|, G.
Automatic selection is possible.

Displays measured values for Q, D, theta, X, B, Rs, Rp, G, Lp, Rdc (DC resistance).
Automatic selection is possible. 
* Measurement frequency 
Select one of the four frequencies (120 Hz, 1 kHz, 10 kHz, and 100 kHz) or input a numeric value (5-digit resolution).

Equivalent circuits(Primary parameter) 
For the L, C, and R, specify the equivalent circuit. Automatic selection is possible.

4-terminal contact check function and a handler interface for production lines (ZM2372)
ZM2372 is equipped with contact check function to prevent mis-measurement or incorrect sorting due to defective contact between the measurement tip and component. It checks contact with 4 measurement terminals, and if a contact defect occurs, it halts measurement/sorting and determines the contact defect. This function contributes to improved yield.

Checks whether there is continuity along the dotted lines (contact check).
Determines there is a defect if contact is defective.

Once the contact failure is detected, ZM2372 allows the measured value “NC” to appear without performing normal measurement. 
The additional time necessary for 4-terminal contact check is approx. 4 ms.
